He was the husband of Janet Gilbert Moore with whom he shared 59 years of marriage. Dave was born in West Grove on December 9, 1929 to the late Byron G. Moore and Mary Kerr Cameron Moore. Dave was a graduate of Avon Grove High School. He retired from DuPont after 28 years. He was a member of the Nur Temple and he was treasurer of the New London Masonic Lodge #545 F& AM for over 10 years. He was a member of The Royal Arch Chapter #223, Past High Priest, The Two Cylinder Club, The New London United Methodist Church, a lifetime member of West Grove Fire Company and The West Grove Hunt Club. He loved the farm, spending time with his family, his John Deere tractors, his cows, hunting and watching NASCAR. In addition to his wife, Janet, he is survived by a son, David C. Moore, Jr. of West Grove, PA and his wife, Katherine Swisher Moore and granddaughters, Jaclyn and Brittany; a daughter, Diann Francart of New London, PA and her husband, John and grandson, Justin and granddaughter, Kristin; a daughter, Debra M. Edwards of West Grove, PA and her husband E. Webster Edwards, granddaughters, Erin Hess and Lauren Edwards.
