Upcoming 2007 meetings are July 2, August 20 and September 4.(directions)   Board Meetings Board of Director meetings are held the first Monday of each month at 7:30 at Rough and Tumble, (unless otherwise designated). (directions) A Board Meeting is scheduled for September 17, 2007.   PA State Farm Show Exhibit For many years, the Waterloo Boys have been exhibiting several two cylinder tractors and providing information for visitors to the annual PA State Farm Show, held at the Exhibition Center in Harrisburg in January. This week long event promotes the club and the benefits of membership, sells raffle tickets, and presents an opportunity to educate the public about the characteristics that make John Deere two cylinder tractors so special. This event is an opportunity for members to share their knowledge and enthusiasm by helping to staff the club's booth at the show.   Spring Banquet and Auction The Spring Banquet and Auction is a very popular event and a great fund raiser for the club. This popular event includes great food, great socializing, and an opportunity to bid on everything from tractor parts to books, toys, Easter baskets, and many other things. The 2007 Spring Banquet and Auction will be held March 10 at the White Horse Fire Company.   Plow Day The annual Plow Day is an opportunity for members to plow with their John Deere or other tractors, and for other members to watch a variety of antique tractors plowing a field. Typically, over 20 tractors participate with at least twice that many members and their families in attendance to enjoy the sights and sounds of tractors at work, as well as good food and camaraderie. The 2007 Plow Day will be April 7 at a location in Kennet Square (directions will be posted).   Tech Days Tech Days are held the third Monday of each month from April through October. Tech Days are an opportunity to bring your John Deere problems (and your tractor, if you wish) to a shop owned by a member. Experts and amateur enthusiasts alike will be demonstrating, fixing and sharing their talents with club members. The 2007 Tech Days dates and location will be posted here soon.   John Deere Show The two day Waterloo Boys John Deere Show is a the club's biggest event, with many John Deere two cylinder tractors and various implements on display, a Parade of tractors, a very popular Tractor Pull, children's events, and opportunities to learn more of the history of John Deere two cylinder tractors. The 2007 show will be Friday July 20 and Saturday July 21. Complete details and day schedule are available here. The Tractor Pull registration form is available here. If you wish to enter the Pull, print and complete the form and mail to Irvin Martin at the address at the bottom of the form.   Christmas Banquet The Waterloo Boy Club Christmas Banquet is an extremely popular event giving members an opportunity to get together in the "off season" and enjoy fine food and entertainment and each others' company. Generally held at the Kinzers Fire Company, the date and location of the 2007 Banquet will be announced later in the year.   Rough and Tumble Events In addition to the events sponsored by the Waterloo Boys, the club's members participate in many of the fine events held by Rough and Tumble, including the Spring Pull, Spring Steam Up, Thresherman's Reunion and Time of Harvest, all but the last of which include an antique tractor pull. Many John Deere two cylinder tractors are exhibited at these events and participate in the pulls.
