One very important piece of information is when we´re open.   We have an entire section under the Schedules button above about when our events take place, but if you plan to simply stop in and visit while you´re in the area, you may be disappointed, and we do not want that.   IMPORTANT: Other than the dates of our many special events, the Rough and Tumble grounds are open for visitors Saturdays from May through our October Time of Harvest event. In addition to being open during all events, the Gift Shop is open the first Saturday of each month from 10 AM to 2 PM, April through Time of Harvest. From Time of Harvest through the winter and early spring until the Spring Antique Tractor Pull in April, there are no exhibits set up on the grounds. If you stop in during the week or the winter months, you may be lucky and find someone at the entrance who has the time to take you on a quick tour, but don´t count on it. You are welcome to call the office (717-442-4249) and ask if someone can show you around on a particular date, but your success will depend on the availability of a volunteer. Therefore, try to visit on a Saturday during the summer (preferrably the 1st Saturday of a month) or during one of our special events. The pages of our Visitor Information section are grouped under the four buttons above. They lead to information on Where are we? These pages provide several maps that show where Rough and Tumble is located as well as several sets of directions from common starting points, including interstate highways and airports.   Where to stay? This pages provide links to area hotels, motels and bead and breakfasts. We are not promoting any of these facilities. Most links provide phone numbers so you may call and inquire as to the specific facilities and availability.   Schedules This page lists all upcoming events with a brief description and dates and hours of operation.   Facilities This section provides several versions of a diagram of the Rough and Tumble grounds as well as information on parking, food concessions and shopping opportunities. The diagram of the grounds is shown on your screen with a key to identify various features and also as larger printable versions for color and black and white printers. A PDF version of the full page diagram is also available allowing you to zoom in on sections of the diagram.   Local weather please find current local weather information below
