The shop's 2005 restoration project was to get the hammer up and running. It will have its first public forging use at the February 11, 2006 Mid-Winter Get-Together at Rough and Tumble. The photo below shows John Sturgis "testing" the newly installed hammer by forging a 1" square bar while Russel Jenkins looks on.
