General Scenes

Steam Games - The Steam Games are a crowd favorite at Rough and Tumble. An early evening event, this year the games included some totally new events.

Railroads - This Reunion's photo album features "views from the Shay engine", photos taken when your webmaster was offered a fireman's view from the cab.

Threshing - The threshing demonstrations always draw a crowd. Threshing by hand and via horse power is demonstrated first, followed by large threshing machines powered by either a steam traction engine or a gas engine tractor. Most of these photos were taken Wednesday.

Parade of Power - One of the most memorable events at the Threshermen's Reunions is the Parade of Power.
Pedal Pull - Pedal pulls are always fun for everybody, and these photos reflect the great effort the kids put into pulling the sled. These photos were taken Thursday.

Tips on viewing Photo Albums
Since our album for Day 3 of Steam School 2003, we have been using a "load ahead" feature in our photo albums.
If you use the "Next Photo" link at the top right corner of each photo, then it will pay you to continue looking at the current photo until the activity display at the bottom of your browser indicates the browser is done loading images. Then, when you click "Next Photo", it will appear almost immediately, and the browser will start loading the next sequential image. To put it simply, wait for the browser to complete loading images before clicking the "Next Photo" button.
