Live TV - Wednesday afternoon, television personality Doug Allen and a news crew from WGAL, Channel 8 TV, arrived at the reunion and spent the afternoon filming a number of scenes that were broadcast by the station during the evening news broadcast. It was an exciting time for Rough and Tumble.
Official Business - On Saturday, the R&T Board of Directors met for their official photo, for the presentation of the President's Award and to formally receive Lester Hoffman's gift of his scale model threshing scene.
Gas Engines - All sizes and shapes of gas engines are always a hit at the reunion. In addition to a variety of motors, the machines they power are equally fascinating.
Models - Scale Models are always present at the reunion, and this year the organization received the gift from Lester Hoffman of his beautiful scale model threshing scene with a steam traction engine, thresher and baler. John McCarter built the stand for the display and other members completed the other parts of the exhibit.
Do-All Machine -
Making its first appearance at Rough and Tumble, Mark Gunderson's "Do-All Machine" was a big hit with all who were lucky enough to see it. Mark and his wife Ronnie were there to explain the many elements that made up the complex system of interconnected parts from a wide variety of machinery.
General Scenes - It's hard to take photos of any Rough and Tumble event and not come up with photos of general interest that may not fit in any particular category.
Personal Transport - As always, a wide variety of personal transportion devices are found at Rough and Tumble, operated by young and old.
- Binkley & Hurst provided this McCormick MTX175

- The twin engine Mad Max has room for several more passengers
- As usual, the kids get to ride first class
- Joy Frantz scurrying around to solve problems where ever they occur
