Part 2
Click on any link below to see the photo, or Start Here and click the "Next Photo" link on each page to page through all photographs in order. You can return to this page from any of the photo pages. Remember our Tips on viewing Photo Albums
Threshing - The threshing demonstrations always draw a crowd. Threshing by hand and via horse power is demonstrated first, followed by large threshing machines powered by either a steam traction engine or a gas engine tractor. Most of these photos were taken Wednesday.
Parade of Power - One of the most memorable events at the Threshermen's Reunions is the Parade of Power. Most of these photos were taken Thursday.
Tractor Games - These games involve slow races, fast races, tractor starting (hand crank), wagon backing and similar events. Most of these photos were taken Wednesday.
Tractor Pull - Tractor Pulls allow spectators to hear and see small and large antique tractors under full load. The further a tractor pulls the sled, the more resistance the sled offers via its moving weight. These photos were taken Thursday.
Pedal Pull - Pedal pulls are always fun for everybody, and these photos reflect the great effort the kids put into pulling the sled. These photos were taken Thursday.
Tips on viewing Photo Albums
Since our album for Day 3 of Steam School 2002, we have been using a "load ahead" feature in our photo albums.
If you use the "Next Photo" link at the top right corner of each photo, then it will pay you to continue looking at the current photo until the activity display at the bottom of your browser indicates the browser is done loading images. Then, when you click "Next Photo", it will appear almost immediately, and the browser will start loading the next sequential image. To put it simply, wait for the browser to complete loading images before clicking the "Next Photo" button.
