Photo Album -
2002 Waterloo Boys John Deere Show
July 27, 2002
The 2002 John Deere Show was held under cloudy skies and a threat of rain that never appeared. The clouds did not dampen the enjoyment of the day for a large croud of visitors and participants. There were 114 tractors and other pieces of equipment registered for the event.
Many thanks go to John Sitch for contributing several photos for this album.

John Deere collectables, clothing, parts and other
merchandise at the John Deere Show

pedal tractors, a Model D and the club's
1920 Waterloo Boy Model N

Tractor Games - Unlike the tractor pull, which is the "power" event, the teeter totter, the slow race and the fastest start race are finesse and control events. Seen at Rough and Tumble only during the John Deere Show, these events together with the dynamometer are a lot of fun for contestants and visitors alike.
Pedal Pull - Pedal pulls are always fun for everybody, and this year was no exception with 38 boys and girls participating.
Parade of Green and Yellow - While not every exhibitor wants to participate in the games and the pull, almost all enjoy being in the parade.
Tractor Pull - Always a highlight at Rough and Tumble, this year's all green tractor pull did not disappoint.
