Photo Album - 2001 Thresherman's Reunion

2001 Threshermen's ReunionOne of the problems with large capacity digital cameras is the ease with which the photographer can "keep shooting" at anything that catches his eye. Next year I have got to cut down. Also, I have compressed this event's photos more than I should in the interest of faster download time. In the future, I will maintain better picture clarity in exchange for slightly longer downloads.
This year, after sorting through over 800 photos and trying to trim the number down, we still have 389 photos from the 53nd Annual Thresherman's Reunion held from August 15 - 18, 2001. This year's photos were taken Thursday and Friday, August 16 and 17.
This one of a kind four day event has a wide scope of antique farm equipment, railroad trains, antique automobiles, and models plus some truly creative custom machines that are always fun to see. A 2 hour, 26 minute video is available of this reunion. Click here for details and an order form.
While the large number of photographs may seem overwhelming, they are organized into three "Parts" and subcategories within each Part. This makes it quite easy to zone in on areas of particular interest. Enjoy -

Tips on viewing Photo Albums
Since our album for Day 3 of Steam School 2001, we have been using a "load ahead" feature in our photo albums.
If you use the "Next Photo" link at the top right corner of each photo, then it will pay you to continue looking at the current photo until the activity display at the bottom of your browser indicates the browser is done loading images. Then, when you click "Next Photo", it will appear almost immediately, and the browser will start loading the next sequential image. To put it simply, wait for the browser to complete loading images before clicking the "Next Photo" button.
