Steam Traction Engines - Always fascinating and the keystone of Rough and Tumble's Exhibits, the steam traction engines always draw a crowd, especially those who have not seen one up close and personal before.
Featured Tractor - Case - The 2001 Threshermen's Reunion's "Featured Tractor" was the Case, and we had Case steam traction engines and rollers as well as many cross-engine Case gas tractors as well as newer gas tractors from the 30's through the 50's.

Other Tractors - R&T seems to have more variety of gas tractors with each reunion than in previous years. 2001 was no exception as you'll see from these photos.

Steam and Gas Rollers - The Threshermen's Reunion always has a great representation of steam and gas powered road rollers.

Steam Games - The Steam Games are held once a year at Rough and Tumble. An early evening event, this year the games featured 16 steam traction engines and steam rollers running simultaneously on the track. Games included the slow race, barrel moving and the forward and back slalom around a series of barrels.

Tips on viewing Photo Albums
Since our album for Day 3 of Steam School 2001, we have been using a "load ahead" feature in our photo albums.
If you use the "Next Photo" link at the top right corner of each photo, then it will pay you to continue looking at the current photo until the activity display at the bottom of your browser indicates the browser is done loading images. Then, when you click "Next Photo", it will appear almost immediately, and the browser will start loading the next sequential image. To put it simply, wait for the browser to complete loading images before clicking the "Next Photo" button.
