Unloading Tractors - It's always interesting to see how tractors are brought to the Reunion. We were not there early enough to catch many tractors being unloaded, but here are a few. Note these tractors are being unloaded at the new unloading area on the northwest corner of the grounds.
Stream Traction Engines - Always fascinating and only seen at tractor shows, the steam traction engines and steam rollers always draw a crowd, especially those who have not seen one up close and personal before. Note: We also include two gas powered rollers in this group.
John Deere - John Deere tractors and implements were the featured tractor for the 52nd Reunion.
International Harvester - Many International Harvester tractors were exhibited in the northeast area of the grounds.
Other Manufacturers - A wide variety of other tractors were exhibited, including some quite rare machines.
Threshing - The threshing demonstrations always draw a crowd. Threshing via horse power is demonstrated first, followed by large threshing machines powered by either a steam traction engine or a gas engine tractor.
Tips on viewing Photo Albums
Since our album for Day 3 of Steam School 2000, we have been using a "load ahead" feature in our photo albums.
If you use the "Next Photo" link at the top right corner of each photo, then it will pay you to continue looking at the current photo until the activity display at the bottom of your browser indicates the browser is done loading images. Then, when you click "Next Photo", it will appear almost immediately, and the browser will start loading the next sequential image. To put it simply, wait for the browser to complete loading images before clicking the "Next Photo" button.
