Rough & Tumble Engineers
Kinzers, Pennsylvania

Information

There are many aspects to visiting Rough and Tumble. One very important piece of information is when we're open.

We have an entire section under the Schedule button above about when our events take place, but if you plan to simply stop in and visit while you're in the area, you may be disappointed, and we do not want that.

IMPORTANT: Other than the dates of our many special events, the Rough and Tumble grounds are generally open for visitors the first Saturday of the month from May through our October Time of Harvest event.  From Time of Harvest through the winter and early spring until the Spring Antique Tractor Pull in April, there are no exhibits set up on the grounds. If you stop in during the week or the winter months, you may be lucky and find someone at the entrance who has the time to take you on a quick tour, but don´t count on it. You are welcome to call the office (717-442-4249) and ask if someone can show you around on a particular date, but your success will depend on the availability of a volunteer. We ask that you consider giving a donation to Rough and Tumble.

Therefore, try to visit on a Saturday during the summer (preferably the 1st Saturday of a month) but the best time is always during one of our scheduled events when equipment is running around the grounds.

Please note, Alcoholic Beverages, Firearms, and Two-Wheeled vehicles are NOT allowed on the grounds. Any Video taken at R&T must have Board Approval before being offered for Resale.
