The Winner of the John Deere 520 Tractor is  Mark Pennington from Clayton, De.

It's been 25 years since a group of enthusiasts sat down and established the Waterloo Boys of Southeastern Pennsylvania. To commemorate this silver anniversary, the Waterloo Boys are offering a 1:64 scale model truck. The truck features the Waterloo Boy tractor and the Model D (the first tractor to wear the John Deere name badge). The Waterloo Boy picture is the actual tractor owned and restored by the club and the Model D is owned by a club member. The Waterloo Boys Club of Southeastern PA has a huge collection of vintage John Deere tractors. You can see all these tractors close up and pulling sleds at the annual John Deere Show held July 24th and 25th at Rough and Tumble.

About Our Club

[Waterloo Boy] The Waterloo Boys of Southeast Pennsylvania, is a non-profit, chartered club dedicated to the preservation, historical education and usage of pre 1965 John Deere farm equipment. Deeply rooted in the richness of our rural heritage, the organization consists of over 200 active members and their families. In November 1990 The Waterloo Boys of Southeast Pennsylvania official received charter status. Thirty Five people sitting around a table at Rough and Tumble Engineers drew up a charter setting the ground work for this outstanding club.
 
Throughout the past 12 years our club has managed to purchase a 1920 "California  Clarifier"  Waterloo Boy Tractor and tents for our shows, training equipment and materials for educational seminars along with 14 John Deere antique tractors that were restored and raffled off.
 
[Plow Days] Members and their families enjoy club functions including a Spring Banquet and Auction, Plow Days, Summer John Deere Show, Summer Picnic, and Christmas Banquet. More recently The Waterloo Boy Club has appeared at the Pennsylvania State Farm Show. Our mission there is to educate the public on the richness of our rural farm heritage and the role our antique farm equipment has played in the past .

Our members are cordial, always willing to pull up a chair and discuss their trade share their many talents with you. Home to Waterloo Boys of Southeast Pennsylvania is Rough & Tumble Engineers Museum grounds, (U.S Route 30)   Kinzers, PA. 17535.  The club meets and holds several of its annual events. Come and visit us at our meeting, held the first Monday of every month or at summer show the 4th Saturday of July.

Reminder - Waterloo Boys Spring Banquet and Auction - Payment must be made by February 22 for the March 5, 2011 banquet at the Bareville Fire Company, 211 E. Main St., Leola, PA 17540. Spring Auction Items Wanted - Items are needed for the annual Spring Banquet Auction on March 5th (see above entry). The donated items do not need to be John Deere tractor parts or related items, however they would be greatly appreciated. Books, Easter baskets, toys, flowers, etc. are also welcome. Help keep our auctioneer busy. If you want to donate something but are not attending the banquet, arrangements can be made to pick up any item. Phone Irvin Martin, 717-656-6602.

New Waterloo Boys Club Building - The Waterloo Boys Two Cylinder Club of SE PA has completed construction of its new building, just east of the Rumely Building. This building will be open for the Waterloo Boys' show July 20 and 21 and will be dedicated Sunday July 22 during the club's summer picnic.
