Nathan "Nate" D. Lillibridge , Voluntown, CT
Born March 9, 1935 – Died April 4, 2005

Husband to Carole and father to daughters Stacey Christy, and Amiee .  Nate was a long time member of Rough and Tumble having spearheaded many of the improvements and innovations that make up the Large Gas Engine area that we are privileged to have today.  Nate was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping.  He was a member of many local fish and game clubs.  Nate also received numerous awards and trophies at local and state fairs in wood chopping, log rolling, axe throwing and crosscut and chain saw competitions.  In 1964-65, he was featured as one of the main exhibitors at the World’s fair in New York City. 

Nate was a collector-preserver of antique gas engines, many of his restored engines can be found on display at various museums.  He was a member of Coolspring Power Museum, Coolspring, PA,  Rough and Tumble Engineers Historical Assn., Kinzers PA,  as well as Central Massachusetts Steam Gas and Machinery Assn, Orange Mass.
